Union Station

from $250.00

Captured in 2023, this photograph looks straight into the heart of Chicago’s Union Station. The architecture here is monumental, the arches, the columns, the symmetry, everything feels built to last. I wanted that sense of permanence to sit next to the constant movement that defines the station, so I waited for a traveler to pass through the frame. The blurred figure in the foreground gives the scene exactly what I needed: motion against stillness, people against the bones of the building.

Framing the image from the shadow of the entrance creates a natural proscenium, almost like you’re stepping into a stage where the city performs its everyday choreography. It’s one of those places where the space itself is the character.

These prints are produced in strictly limited editions:

16×24 inches (Edition of 5)
20×30 inches (Edition of 5)
24×36 inches (Edition of 3)

After these editions sell out, the image is permanently retired from printing. Only two Artist Proofs exist beyond these editions. Every print is made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, signed, and accompanied by a registered Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity. Prints are sold unframed. Shipping available within the US and Mexico.

This piece works well in spaces that appreciate structure and movement, rooms where clean lines and architectural details set the tone.
