The Theatre

from $250.00

Captured in 2025, this photograph focuses on one of the most iconic symbols of the city, the Chicago Theatre sign. This building has witnessed decades of performances and history, and its illuminated vertical marquee remains one of the most recognizable visuals in Chicago. I wanted to capture that sense of legacy while keeping the image rooted in the reality of the street.

The streetlight in the foreground plays an important role. It interrupts the frame just enough to remind you that this isn’t a postcard view, it’s the city as you actually experience it. The glow of the marquee, the texture of the façade, the layers of the street at night, everything comes together to show the theater not as a tourist destination, but as part of the everyday urban landscape.

These prints are produced in strictly limited editions:

16×24 inches (Edition of 5)
20×30 inches (Edition of 5)
24×36 inches (Edition of 3)

After these editions sell out, the image is permanently retired from printing. Only two Artist Proofs exist beyond these editions. Every print is made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, signed, and accompanied by a registered Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity. Prints are sold unframed. Shipping available within the US and Mexico.

This piece fits beautifully in spaces that appreciate Chicago’s culture, history, and the energy of city nights.
