Captured in 2025, this photograph frames the Chicago skyline through one of the city’s most recognizable structures, the Honeycomb in Lincoln Park. I wanted to use the geometry of the pavilion as a natural gateway, pulling the entire skyline into one composition. The curves, the repeating pattern, the shadows stretching across the floor, everything lines up to guide the eye straight to the city.
What completes the scene is the mother and child walking underneath the structure. They add a sense of scale and life to a place that’s usually photographed empty. Their presence makes the architecture feel lived in, not just admired, and connects the city’s design to the people who pass through it every day.
These prints are produced in strictly limited editions:
16×24 inches (Edition of 5)
20×30 inches (Edition of 5)
24×36 inches (Edition of 3)
After these editions sell out, the image is permanently retired from printing. Only two Artist Proofs exist beyond these editions. Every print is made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, signed, and accompanied by a registered Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity. Prints are sold unframed. Shipping available within the US and Mexico.
This piece works well in bright, modern spaces, especially rooms where architectural elements and clean lines set the tone.
