The Hidden Bean

from $250.00

Captured in 2025, this photograph looks at the Bean from a less traditional angle, framed through trees, surrounded by high-rises, and layered with the architecture that defines Chicago. I wanted to step away from the classic postcard view and find something that felt more honest to how the city actually looks and feels when you’re moving through it. The branches in the foreground give the scene a natural texture, while the towers behind the sculpture pull the eye upward.

The reflection on the Bean carries the whole skyline inside it, almost like the city folding into itself. That combination, nature, sculpture, and the vertical power of the skyline, is what makes Chicago’s urban construction so unique. This image captures all of that in one frame.

These prints are produced in strictly limited editions:

16×24 inches (Edition of 5)
20×30 inches (Edition of 5)
24×36 inches (Edition of 3)

After these editions sell out, the image is permanently retired from printing. Only two Artist Proofs exist beyond these editions. Every print is made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, signed, and accompanied by a registered Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity. Prints are sold unframed. Shipping available within the US and Mexico.

This piece fits especially well in modern, design-conscious spaces, places where architecture and organic forms can coexist.
