Captured in 2025, this photograph highlights one of Chicago’s most iconic neon signs, The Berghoff. I wanted to photograph it from an angle that emphasized both the sign and its surroundings. The modern glass façade behind it creates a contrast between old and new, tradition and contemporary architecture. The reflections add another layer, turning the scene into a mix of light, texture, and memory.
